Locality Fundraiser - 2 posts:
Post 1: Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Highlands, Moray, Shetland & Orkney
Post 2: Argyll & Bute, Glasgow, Dunbartonshire, Renfrewshire & Forth Valley
Contract: 2 positions, permanent, 35 hours per week
We are looking for 2 enthusiastic, motivated, well organised community fundraisers to join our area teams. One
post holder will cover Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Highlands, Moray, Shetland & Orkney and the second post holder will cover Argyll & Bute, Glasgow, Dunbartonshire, Renfrewshire and Forth Valley. Each post holder will be based from one of our dementia resource centres within their particular area.
The post holders will work within our community fundraising team to deliver an agreed fundraising plan and will work with a diverse range of stakeholders to meet and exceed agreed targets and KPI's.
The successful applicants will have a good understanding of community fundraising, excellent communication and negotiation skills, will show creativity and flair and will work effectively as part of a busy team. The successful applicants will work with colleagues to manage and prioritise a diverse workload and will be proactive in maximising fundraising opportunities.
Experience of community fundraising, digital marketing, working with a variety of supporter groups, press and PR, events, staff and volunteer management is desirable.
