Contract: 1 positions, temporary to 31 March 2022, 17.5 hours per week
We are looking for unique people who can support people with dementia, in a variety of environments, personalised to the individual’s needs.
Our support workers are our most important people as they provide front line support. Our support workers help individuals to maintain skills and independence by providing company and the opportunity for people with dementia to socialise, in a day service setting.
The focus of the support is around therapeutic activities and connecting with peers. Please contact the recruiting manager for more information.
Successful applicants will have a positive approach to dementia. You will also have good communication skills and a caring attitude. A willingness to learn and participate in training (including SVQ’s) is essential. Relevant qualifications and/or experience of working with people with dementia would be an advantage.
Full driving license and access to a vehicle during working time is essential for this post.
