Assistance Dog Instructor - Dementia Dog Project
Contract: 35 hours a week. 3 year fixed term until August 2019
The unique Dementia Dog project - a collaboration between Alzheimer Scotland and Dogs for Good - is looking for a highly motivated Assistance Dog Instructor to work on Phase 2 of a pilot project supporting people with dementia and their carers/family. The project will operate across Scotland and the post is likely to be based on the western side of Dundee.

The postholder will work in a small team to develop this unique opportunity. The successful applicant will have excellent dog training and people communication skills. Supporting people to understand, develop and nurture a mutually beneficial relationship with their dog lies at the heart of the work.
Experience of working with both dogs and people is highly desirable
