Job description
Daycare Organiser - North Ayrshire Locality, based Irvine
Contract: 1 position, 14 hours permanent, rota based
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to take up the post of Daycare Organiser, to be based at our Daycare service in Irvine, three days per week.
The Daycare Organiser is responsible for the day to day co-ordination of our Daycare
service. You will be responsible for ensuring that we are delivering a high quality, therapeutic Daycare service for the people we support. You will work closely with the whole North Ayrshire locality team and the people we support and their carers to continually develop the services we offer. You will be responsible for supervising the day to day activities as well as having the role of providing day to day support and guidance to both our support staff and volunteers.
We require people who are imaginative, creative and committed to ensuring that the best possible service is provided to the people we support and their carers. You will assist us to continually offer and develop a range of therapeutic activities we offer to the people who attend. You will be able to plan ahead, co-ordinate and organise people and resources with the added ability to adapt and respond to ever changing demands. It is also preferable that you have established leadership skills however full support will be provided to those who may be looking to further develop their skills.
You will preferably hold a relevant qualification in health or social care and will have experience of working with people with dementia and their families.
